Containers for Garbage

Options
Depending on the volume of garbage anticipated, commercial buildings may store garbage for collection in garbage cans, front-end bins (2 to 8 cubic yards), and compactors.

Container Measurements
When considering garbage receptacles, designers must be aware of the size of different containers. Every manufacturer has slightly different measurements of their bins and may or may not include in their measurements the width of the metal side brackets or additional height if container has wheels. The table below presents measurements as general information only.
