Auxiliary Constables
The purpose of the Auxiliary Constables program is to strengthen community and police partnerships by providing citizen volunteers with the opportunity to perform authorized activities in support of strategies to address the causes of, or reduce the fear of, crime and discorder.

Block Watch
Block Watch is a free, community-based, crime prevention program aimed at helping residents organize their neighbourhoods to help prevent crime in the community. For more information, please visit www.richmond.ca/blockwatch

Business Link
This program's focus is to educate businesses in crime prevention strategies to help reduce crime. Crime Free Multi-Housing
This program is a crime prevention initiative designed specifically to help apartment owners, managers, residents, police and other agencies work together to keep illegal and nuisance activity off rental properties.

Criminal Activity Maps
The Richmond RCMP Criminal Activity Map show where recent property crimes have occurred in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. This information is distributed to raise awareness and help educate property owners on crime prevention techniques. Visit www.richmond.ca/crime

DARE
DARE is a prevention education program that provides a pro-active approach to a global substance abuse problem. It is a co-operative effort between the community, the schools and the Police.

Restorative Justice
This program is coordinated by Touchstone Family Association, and operates two models conferencing: 1) Community Justice Forum and 2) Community Accountability Panel.

School Liaison
The purpose of the program is to help build a better relationship between the police and young people.

Youth Section
The Richmond RCMP Youth Section balances their time between education and enforcement. Youth officers are assigned to high schools and deal with files involving students at school during school hours or to/from school.

Youth Intervention
To provide assessment, counselling and/or referral services to youth (17 years and younger) referred by RCMP officers who have been identified by actual or potential conflict with the law.

Victim/Witness Services
The Richmond RCMP Victim/Witness Services provides crime victims, witnesses and their families, and those who are experiencing a trauma with professional, supportive, and timely assistance to lesson the impact of crime and trauma.
