U-ROC (Richmond Outstanding Community) Youth Awards

What are the U-ROC Awards?
Every year during BC Youth Week (May 1-7) the City of Richmond hosts the U-ROC (Richmond Outstanding Community) Youth Awards to celebrate the achievements and dedication of Outstanding Youth and  Asset Champions within the Richmond community.

The City asks for professionals and community members working with youth, who know of an Outstanding Youth or Asset Champion to nominate them for an award. Please take the time to consider those who go above and beyond the day to day expectations and activities required of them, and those who may not otherwise receive recognition for their achievements.

Category Descriptions

Outstanding Youth
Youth in this category are nominated for displaying exceptional qualities, making Richmond a better place and overcoming barriers towards their personal success.

Asset Champions

The 2017 U-ROC Awards were held on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Gateway Theatre.

Nominations for the 20th Annual U-ROC Awards will open in early 2018.
