Facility Rentals

Minoru Place Activity Centre (MPAC) has a variety of meeting and event spaces that are available for rent including a banquet room, main hall and multipurpose rooms. 

Please note: Minoru Seniors Society operates a commercial kitchen on site and all catering requests must be approved by the Food Services Coordinator. Any outside catering must have approval from the Minoru Seniors Society Board of Directors. Prices indicated below do not include catering.

Banquet Room (Main Hall A1/A2/A3)

  • Maximum seating capacity 180
  • $350/event + $350 damage deposit
  • Available Saturday evenings only 5:00 - 11:00 pm
  • Use of stage, tables and chairs included
  • Additional fees for set up and/or take down may apply

Event liability insurance is required for special events held in City facilities and parks. Minimum liability must be $2,000,000 listing both the City of Richmond and the Minoru Seniors Society as additional insured. A Liquor License and SOCAN fees may also be required.

Main Hall (A1/A2/A3)

  • Available during facility hours only 
  • Maximum capacity: 180
  • $30/hour per room for Community Groups (non-profit)
  • $40/hour per room for Outside Groups (for profit)

Multipurpose Rooms

  • Available during facility hours only
  • Maximum capacity: 50
  • $30/hour for Community Groups (non-profit)
  • $40/hour for Outside Groups (for profit)
