Fitness Centre
The new City Centre Community Centre features a fully staffed 4,000 sq ft fitness centre full of state of the art equipment and machines that is sure to help you meet your fitness goals.

Fitness Centre Hours
Friday and Saturday: 6:00 am - Midnight
Sunday - Thursday: 6:00 am - 11:00 pm

Fitness Centre Fees
City Centre Community Centre offers a number of options for accessing fitness programs, including paying a drop-in fee or purchasing a visit card or fitness centre pass, as well as offering programs for registration. See the Fitness Fee and Schedules section for more information.

Racquet Sports/Court Booking Procedures
To book individual table tennis or badminton court rentals, call 604-204-8588 or for whole season bookings, call the Registration Call Centre at 604-276-4300 or Register Online.

Please note: Badminton courts are located in the Anderson Elementary School gym.

Booking Procedures
The following procedures apply unless otherwise stated:
  • Reservations: Can be taken two weeks in advance, and  a payment of $9.75 plus GST for 45 minutes must be made at time of booking.
  • Cancellations: Please provide 24 hours advance notice for cancellation. Refunds or credits will not be issued for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.
  • Booking per person: Up to two courts per day
  • Private Lessons: All court rentals are available for public use. For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, private lessons are restricted to those run by the City Centre Community Association.

PAR-Q+ (The Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire for Everyone)
When you take part in any fitness activity at a City facility you will be asked to either complete a PAR-Q+, read the large poster version of the form, or to confirm you have completed the online version of the questionnaire, or complete and print the form here PDF Document Par Q Questionnaire. This form is designed to identify people for whom a change in physical activity may pose a risk.
