Fall in Love with Nature at PechaKucha Night Richmond
Jan 28 2016
Learn about nature in a completely new and informal way at the upcoming PechaKucha Night at the Richmond Nature Park on Thursday, February 11. For the Love of Nature will feature presentations, beginning at 6:30 p.m., from a naturalist, conservationist, landscape architect, artist, educator, agriculturalist, parks planner, sustainability advocate, and a marine biologist. Each will present 20 images for 20 seconds each, all while sharing thought-provoking ideas and stories.
PechaKucha Night Richmond Vol. 13 is presented by the City of Richmond’s Public Art Program in partnership with the Richmond Nature Park Society. It is a free event suitable for all ages. Come early for a seat as space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Light refreshments will be served.
The first PechaKucha Night held in Tokyo in 2003 was created for young designers to meet, network and show their work in public. The format has evolved into a massive celebration with events occurring in over 850 cities around the globe, inspiring creativity worldwide.
