Richmond City Hall closed for Canada Day

Regular civic services at Richmond City Hall will be closed on Friday, July 1 for the Canada Day holiday. Regular public service will resume at 8:15 a.m. on Monday, July 4.
City parks, recreation and cultural facilities will be open throughout the weekend. Please contact each facility directly for specific hours on July 1. If you want to work out on Canada Day, four fitness centres will be open. Cambie, South Arm and Thompson community centres are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and City Centre is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Total Fitness Monthly Pass holders can use their pass at any of these centres on the public holiday for no extra fee.
Steveston Community Centre will be open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. to host the Steveston Salmon Festival. This facility’s fitness centre is not open and programs are not being offered that day. Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site will be open noon to 6 p.m. to host Ships to Shore Steveston 2016.
For emergencies such as broken water mains, sewer problems, downed trees on roads, traffic lights out or other problems of this nature, please call the City’s 24-hour Emergency Line at 604-270-8721.
