Richmond City Hall closed for BC Day

Regular civic services at Richmond City Hall will be closed on Monday, August 1 for the BC Day holiday. Regular public service will resume at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, August 2.

City parks, recreation and cultural facilities will be open throughout the weekend. Please contact each facility directly for specific hours on August 1. If you want to work out on BC Day, five fitness centres will be open. Cambie, South Arm, Steveston and Thompson community centres are open from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and City Centre Community Centre is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Total Fitness Monthly Pass holders can use their pass at any of these centres on the public holiday for no extra fee.

For emergencies such as broken water mains, sewer problems, downed trees on roads, traffic lights out or other problems of this nature, please call the City’s 24-hour Emergency Line at 604-270-8721.
