Celebrate Richmond in Acrylics and Canvas

March 10, 2016

Together with the Richmond Art Gallery, the Richmond Arts Centre is pleased to present My Richmond, a celebration of pride in the local community.

My Richmond is a selection of pieces reflecting elements of Richmond that resonate with local artists currently enrolled in the Acrylic Painting – Open Studio class at the Richmond Arts Centre. These adult participants bring a wide range of skill and experience to the classes. With a range of subjects, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Tibbets ViewMy Richmond is the first juried exhibition for the class, which has been offered through the Richmond Arts Centre for over 10 years. Many of the students have taken the class consistently over the last decade, and have honed their skills and techniques under the tutelage of accomplished professional artists including Nicola Tibbetts, the current instructor.

The exhibition will take place from now until April 27, 2016 in the Galleria at City Hall and is open to the public.
