Richmond Council calls for 2017 Advisory Board volunteers
The call is out to Richmond residents who are interested in serving their community in a volunteer capacity in 2017. City of Richmond Council is looking to fill over 100 volunteer positions on 19 advisory committees. The committees are long-standing and contribute to addressing a variety of specific areas of civic concern such as the arts, culture, economy, environment, agriculture, seniors, youth and more.
Those interested in volunteering their time and expertise on any of the City’s advisory bodies are asked to submit their completed application form and resume by end of day Friday, September 23, 2016.
Those appointed to positions, by City Council, would serve on the advisory body in a volunteer capacity – there is no remuneration for appointees.
