Advance voting opportunities were available to all qualified voters and were held from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at nine Advance Voting Opportunities on November 1, 5, 6, 7 and 8, 2014.
Voting by mail ballot is permitted only for those voters who have a physical disability, illness or injury which affects their ability to vote or for those who expect to be absent from Richmond on all voting dates (November 1, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 15).
Voters voting by mail ballot must sign a statement indicating that they qualify for a mail ballot. Mail ballot packages are now available.
Please call the Election Office at 604-276-4100 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements to vote using a mail ballot. By law, completed mail ballots must be received at the Election Office, no later than 8:00 p.m. on General Voting Day (November 15, 2014) in order to be counted.
Special Voting Provisions for Residents in Care Facilities
As in previous years, voting opportunities will be provided for residents of care facilities who would otherwise not be able to attend a voting place on General Voting Day (Saturday, November 15, 2014).
Arrangements were made for a mobile poll to visit select care facilities. Only residents of the facilities will be able to vote at the mobile polls.
