Our Cities Our Communities: Building Community, Facilitating Intercultural Neighbourhoods
Check back in summer 2017 to find details about the 2017 Diversity Symposium and how to get involved.
The Symposium is aimed at people who work in the field of diversity. Municipal workers, community leaders and those working in community agencies are particularly encouraged to attend. It is not aimed at the general public.
The Symposium Objectives are to:
- Inform staff working in the field of diversity of best and emerging practices in the area of community and neighbourhood building.
- Share information and resources and facilitate discussion between agencies involved in diversity and social inclusion work, particularly as it relates to community building.
- Explore and facilitate shared actions and agendas between agencies and across municipalities in relation to neighbourhood and community building.
