The Richmond Arts Centre is proud to offer classes taught by some of the best and brightest instructors from around the Lower Mainland. Below are brief introductions to some of those instructors and their qualifications.

Lisa Dery - Drama
RAC instructor Lisa DeryLisa Dery trained in New York and Vancouver and has more than 20 years of training and experience within the fields of performance (stage, dance and voice), leadership education and meditation.  She is also a certified Body Talk Practitioner and Yoga Instructor.  The combination of her skills, training and experience allows Lisa to create a safe and supportive space for her participants aged 7 to 72 to develop their fullest potential from the inside out. 

Jill Raymond – Musical Theatre, Drama

RAC instructor Jill Raymond 2014Jill Raymond is a multi-talented international performance artist with over 10 years of professional experience. Since graduating with a UK First Honours Degree in Acting, she has performed on more than three continents, continuously developing her acting, singing and dancing skills. Her extensive resume includes leading roles in many musical theatre productions, which is her most loved form of theatre. As a dual British and Canadian citizen, Jill moved to Canada in early 2013 to commence a new and exciting chapter in her professional career in the arts.

Jill currently teaches for a number of organizations in the Lower Mainland and has worked with children and young adults most of her life. She is passionate about crafting and developing talent and creativity in young artists and looks forward to inspiring future generations through music, theatre and dance.
