RAC About Us 2011 Spray PaintingThe Richmond Arts Centre is the City of Richmond's Arts education and creation hub for courses, events, organizations and artists. Located on the second floor of the Richmond Cultural Centre, the Richmond Arts Centre shares its vibrant location with the Richmond Library, Richmond Museum, Richmond Archives and the Richmond Art Gallery. Our amenities include dance, performance, music, painting, printmaking, pottery, fabric arts, sound and lapidary studios.

The aim of the Richmond Arts Centre is to make the Arts accessible to people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Check out our various programs and projects:

Arts Education Program which is made up of a variety courses that cover a broad spectrum of Arts practice. The courses range from introductory levels to more advanced explorations. Taught by accomplished Artist Instructors, we strive to program classes that reflect community interests and adhere to the best teaching practices.

RAC About Us 2011 WeaversArts in the Community initiatives which consist of critically acclaimed events that take place on site or throughout different neighbourhoods in the City. The Arts Centre is also home to a number of local Resident Art Groups and connects the Arts with communities around Richmond.
